Barker Tea House & Coffee Barker, Cardiff

My boyfriend and I have this huge issue whenever we are hungry: we always struggle to choose what and where to eat. And I feel like this is a big problem for most people. Time passes by as you are scrolling website after website to find the most delicious food. You go through your social media struggling to stumble upon the most picture-worth menus and are still not satisfied with the result. You ask friends and family, because you are tired of going to the same old place all the time. As I mentioned in a previous post, I am currently an Ambassador of the application #Ordoo and I have to admit that I cannot wait for it to launch in the next few weeks. It will definitely save me the trouble of endless searches for the best places in Cardiff, because they will already be chosen and picked up in this must-have app. As I have been visiting restaurants and cafés I came across a very unique tea house.

Both Barker places are a must-visit if you come to Cardiff. The atmosphere is really cosy — they have those big brown armchairs that are extremely comfortable. You get a very home-like vibe from the interior — table lamps, book shelves and candles. Its style is a mixture of a very unique vintage interior and a sheltered dreamy-like escape place.

The food is always well prepared and fresh and there is a wide selection for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and always prepared to help you with your choice. I would highly recommend the avocado toast and the mixed berry smoothie.

P.S. Barker Tea House serves brunch all day long.
